Accurate water sampling is critical for protecting your health and ensuring the reliability of your well. Many wells we test show signs of bacterial contamination, which is why proper inspection and reporting are essential—especially during real estate transactions. Our inspection package includes a full system check, well system productivity, bacterial testing, chemical analysis when required, and verifying that the well system is operating correctly.
If your well water is contaminated with bacteria we can perform well chlorination. If your water contains elevated mineral levels, we can provide a customized water treatment system. We specialize in treatment solutions for calcium, hardness, iron, manganese, arsenic, nitrates, and many other water quality issues. Once the system is designed and installed, we sample the water to confirm the treatment system is operating correctly.
We specialize in well rehabilitation and repair. Many older wells develop damaged or deteriorated casing that can allow unwanted water to enter the well. Holes in the casing may let surface water intrude or allow upper water-bearing zones—previously sealed off—to mix with the well and cause contamination. These openings can also allow sand to enter the well where no sand issues previously existed. Roots may penetrate weakened sections of casing as well. In most wells, we can install a new PVC casing/liner and provide a deep annular seal (50+ feet), which offers far better protection than a traditional residential seal. When needed, we develop the well using the air-lift method and perform thorough well chlorination procedures to restore water quality and eliminate bacterial contamination.
We destroy wells that are no longer viable, wells that must be abandoned in order to connect to city water, and wells that may be contributing to aquifer contamination. We use specialized tooling that allows us to cut the well casing down 5 feet below grade without the need for an excavator or backhoe. Our well destruction process typically includes pumping cement slurry to properly seal and abandon the well in accordance with county and state requirements.
